I recently watched a pro install one of my wire wall sculptures to a plasterboard wall. It took him less than two minutes. First, he checked to make sure all the loops were crimped down to fit the drywall screws he was using. Then, he held the sculpture against the wall while an assistant directed. Next, as soon as the position and orientation looked good, he drove an inch-long drywall screw through a loop at the top of the piece. If he drove it into a stud, great. He went on to another loop. If not, he backed out the screw and screwed in a ”E-Z Anchor” in its place. Then drove the screw into the anchor. One loop secured. Finally. He did the same thing to all the other loops. That’s it. |
